Funny Horse Who Gives Off 'Major Golden Retriever Vibes' Is Enough to Make Anyone Smile
Horse people know something that we don't. Horses are unlike any other animals. They're totally unique. They even have unique personalities. Like one palomino horse who his owner jokes is just like a Golden Retriever.
Oakley isn't like the other horses. He isn't stoic or calm. He's downright goofy. He's like a ball of energy and his owner just can't get enough.
Can horses get the zoomies? Because it almost seems like the palomino horse is having the trademark burst of energy that most Goldens are known for. In the clip Oakley's owner posted, it shows the horses running back and forth through a field. He's so goofy!

All he needed was a little encouragement from his mama and the horse was prancing about.
"Come on!" she cheered, with a laugh.
"I don’t think I’ll ever ever ever get enough of going on walks with Oakley and playing like this!" the woman added in the caption.
"It’s not even something I dreamt of because I didn’t know it was a possibility," she continued. "Having him from birth and just winging everything has been the best thing ever!
Commenters loved to see Oakley and his mama play together. He's really one-of-a-kind. "This is how I'd like to have a horse. Not ride, but go for walks and excitedly call them back after the zoomies," joked one commenter. "How he keeps looking to see if you're keeping up," added another person. "What a fun boy! I love the lookbacks over his shoulder when he runs away!" praised another commenter. "He's like, wait a minute, why am I the only one running?!!!" joked someone else.
All About Palomino Horses
Oakley is your typical palomino horse. They're extra special. Palomino refers to the color of these horses, not a breed. Palominos have a light golden blonde to almost dark brown coat with a white mane, tail, and stockings. But what they're most known for are their personalities.
Palominos are high-spirited horses, who yes, sometimes have hot-blooded tendencies. There is a difference between a Quarter Horse and an Arabian. Quarter Horses tend to be laidback and eager to please. While Arabians are more high strung. Overall, these horses are curious, gentle, calm, versatile, social, and friendly.
In short, there's no reason not to love a palomino. And if you're a dog person, it seems like this is the kind of horse that will scratch that itch. Sounds like the perfect horse to us!
