Goldendoodle Steals Helping of Pie on Thanksgiving & Has Exactly Zero Regrets

Hmmm, seems like someone was picking at the Thanksgiving pumpkin pie this year. Who could it be? One Goldendoodle was spotted at the scene of the crime and now his owner is very suspicious that perhaps he was the one to nab a bite. But a video online leaves it up for the internet to decide.

Don't worry everyone, Detective Mom is here to investigate. Michelle Beucler was hot on the crimal's trail after finding her perfect pumpkin pie destroyed on the kitchen counter.

Let's go over the facts, shall we? The criminal, whoever they are, left the pie on the counter. Only the woman's Goldendoodle was left at the scene of the crime. And well.. I don't know about you, but it almost seems like an open and shut case.

"Suspect thought they should get to try the pie first on Thanksgiving," the woman joked in the video's text overlay. Again, we can't prove anything. But the Doodle's nonchalant saunter out of the room seems a little too nonchalant...ya' know?

He's innocent we tell you! Well, he probably isn't. But that doesn't mean his attempt at getting away with the crime wasn't hilarious. So many people online were laughing over the Goldendoodle's little "crime spree." "The way he walks away like 'well what’s done is done,'" wrote one person. "He walked away with absolutely no regrets," someone else teased. "He said 'I had to check to see if it was poisonous. At least you won’t die.' Lol," joked one commenter. "He’s just so proud of himself and then he just walks away like see ya' mom," added one person.

Can You Feed Your Dog Thanksgiving Food?

Pumpkins, gourds, turkey — these are all yummy foods that your dog is dying to get a bite of. Some of these foods might even be in their commercial dog food! But no matter how good they are (or who isn't looking), it's probably best not to feed your pup from your plate.

That doesn't mean you can't share, however! Dogs can eat certain holiday foods like turkey or pumpkin, but without any seasoning. They also shouldn't eat anything with gravy on it and it's best to keep them away from any dessert. No garlic or onions for your pup either. And while we love mashed potatoes, it's best to only give your dog plain potatoes that have been boiled.

If you really have any questions about what to feed your dog, you can talk to their vet. They'll give you the full rundown on the do's and don'ts of holiday eating. And remember, never leave a pumpkin pie out!
