This is truly the exact same sandwich as the classic. A traditional Big Mac has two beef patties, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce, and special sauce on a sesame seed bun, with an extra bun in the middle. For the Chicken Big Mac, all McDonald’s has done is swap the beef for two fried chicken patties.
Why Is McDonald’s Offering a Chicken Big Mac?
As the cost of beef rises, McDonald’s has looked into expanding its chicken menu, which is now “on par with beef sales,” according to CNN.
