That's it. Today is canceled. Or at least it would be if Winston had his way. The Pug was simply over it and he really didn't want to listen to his mom. Unfortunately for the Pug, she is sort of in charge of him. But that doesn't mean he was going to try and skirt her commands.

Winston looked so sad in the video his mama shared. Not only was the pup looking down at the ground, he was sitting on his bottom like a little child.

The Pug really didn't want to do something. Although we aren't sure what it was. It's almost like he was pretending to be invisible so that his mama wouldn't notice him.

"You can't just collapse and die just because you don't want to do something buddy," his mom teased in the footage. "I know. We all wish we could do that but we can't because of society," she teased.

"It’s a hard life being a pug," she joked in the caption.

The comments section was on Winston's side. "Actually I checked in with everybody and we all said he can do that," one person wrote. "No! You let him! He's above society!!!" someone else teased. "I am Winston. Winston is me. I feel you friend," chimed in another commenter. While another commenter asked the million dollar question: "Awwwww what didn’t he want to do?" they wrote.

To which the dog mom explained that the poor Pug didn't want to "walk when he was sleepy."

Yep, been there little friend!

Pugs Aren’t Active Dogs

Some dog breeds can run (and run....and run) but Pugs aren't one of them. These dogs don't need a lot of exercise every single day, but they do have some energy and need mental stimulation.

They can spend most of their day sleeping on the sofa. But they're lively dogs, so you should encourage them to try and get a little movement in every day. At most, your Pug will probably be willing to take a walk around the neighborhood or hang out in the yard. But don't expect them to go hiking with them. That's not really their thing and they don't like the heat either, so too much time outside will really bother them.

You should try and play with your Pugs throughout the day. Just to keep them engaged. But Pugs do have a stubborn streak. So there's a fair chance your dog will end up like Winston here and end up a sad puddle on the floor.
