This Spicy Chex Mix Is so Good You Will Not Want to Share It

Ingredients
6 c.
corn, wheat, or rice cereal squares, or a combination, such as Chex cereal
2 c.
cheese crackers
2 c.
lightly salted mixed nuts
2 c.
small pretzels
1/2 c.
(1 stick) salted butter
2 tbsp.
hot sauce, such as Crystal or Tabasco
2 tbsp.
Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp.
packed light brown sugar
2 tsp.
garlic powder
2 tsp.
smoked paprika
1 tsp.
cayenne pepper
1 tsp.
ground thyme
Directions
Preheat the oven to 250°F.
In a very large mixing bowl, combine the cereal, cheese crackers, nuts, and pretzels.
In a microwave-safe bowl or large measuring cup, microwave the butter in 15-second increments until melted. Whisk in the pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and thyme.
Gradually pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture, mixing thoroughly until evenly coated.
Spread the mixture on 2 rimmed baking sheets in an even layer. Bake until dry and fragrant, 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes or so.
Let the mix cool for at least 10 minutes on the baking sheets before serving.
