Viral Clip of Dachshund 'Hard At Work' at the Salon Never Gets Old

Dogs have thousands of ways of lighting up our lives, from laugh-inducing playtime to greeting us when we get home. Maybe it's because they're so good at being present, but our four-legged friends can always find a way to have fun--even at work!

On November 23, official salon dogs Vienna and Pepperoni decided to help out on the job. As soon as they discovered that their client's chair could spin, Vienna took matters into her own paws! It's safe to say that everyone was having fun with these Dachshunds in charge, including the four-legged stylists.

I want to book an appointment at their salon! Vienna, the long-haired miniature Dachshund dog, is having a blast running around and around while her brother Pepperoni is hot on her heels. This is a prime example of how having dogs at work can turn mundane moments into fun memories--as long as you're not too dizzy, that is!

"That is the stylist," joked commenter @toastymcmarshmallow. She went through many years of cosmetology school to get here. Have some respect." No kidding! This sausage dog is circling the room like she owns the place, and her assistant is never far behind. This dynamic duo is going to own the cosmetology world!

Until stylists across the globe know their names, these adorable dogs will be entertaining their clients in the chair (and entertaining themselves). They're certainly lucky that their clients are good sports about spinning, but for all they know, it's part of the pups' artistic process! As @itsreallykd explained, "Okay, so I heard of this new technique called 'The Spin Cycle.' It should help the color process quicker." And even if it doesn't do the trick, it's the kind of customer service that a person never forgets.

Types of Dachshunds

Although Dachshunds, or 'sausage dogs', are distinctly recognizable thanks to their short legs and long bodies, they come in a few different varieties. Vienna, the lead stylist in this adorable viral video, is a long-haired Dachshund, while her brother Pepperoni is a short-haired (or smooth) Dachshund. However, there's also a third kind: the wire-haired Dachshund! This type has longer hair, but the hair is much coarser, like a terrier's coat.

As you can imagine, there are no other differences among the types of sausage dogs besides the length and texture of their fur. They're known for being outgoing, tenacious little dogs with a personality that's larger than life. Dachshunds were bred to work and drive out vermin, so they can be active, alert, and playful, too! It's no wonder why Pepperoni and Vienna enjoyed 'working' in the salon so much.
